The Variables That Drive Timeline
Every project is different. Timelines are driven by surface condition, paint system (how many coats), scope (walls only vs. walls, ceilings, and trim), furniture in the space, and whether prep work is needed. A freshly drywalled room is much faster than one with 30 years of paint buildup requiring repair and priming.
Per-Room Estimates
Small bedroom under 150 sq ft: 4 to 6 hours for walls and ceiling, two coats. Standard bedroom: 6 to 8 hours including trim. Living room or great room: 1 to 2 days. Full kitchen including cabinets: 3 to 5 days. Bathroom: 4 to 6 hours for a standard bath.
Whole-House Projects
A full interior repaint of a 2,000 to 2,500 sq ft home with a crew of two typically runs 4 to 6 working days. Larger homes or homes requiring significant repair can extend to 7 to 10 days. We provide a detailed day-by-day schedule on larger projects so you can plan accordingly.
